The frame is fine, the medallion is a little cheap, but the certificate and what it represents made this slightly pricey purchase worth it. I first received a Guinness Book of World Records at age 10, and immediately dreamed of ways I could set a world record. Now at age 57, me and 56,639 of my closest friends can share this one! By the way, the holder the certificate comes in is purposefully designed to be the blue matting seen in the picture, so it really does look nice.

I was upset that the medal read “record attempt”, it would have been better to say “record participant” or something to that effect, “record attempt” to me reads as if you tried but failed as it was only an attempt at a record and not a participant in a record.
