Achieving a Guinness World Records record title is an incredible milestone, and we're here to make your shopping experience just as exciting! Whether you're looking for an official Record Holder certificate or exclusive GWR merchandise, our FAQs have all the answers you need.
Printed Record Holder Certificate FAQs
Newly approved Record Holders may get their own complimentary Digital Record Breaker Badge directly from the Guinness World Records (GWR) Store.
Please log into the Store using your Guinness World Records application login and password, head over to the Record Holder Exclusive Zone, find the correct section for the Digital Record Breaker Badge, follow the steps to navigate to the product page, and it will be available to add to your cart for free.
If you would like to buy printed Record Holder Certificates, you can do so at the GWR Store.
Please log into the GWR Store using your Guinness World Records application account login and password and then visit the Record Holder Certificate page, where you can buy as many copies of your certificate as you like.
From 29th August 2024 we now charge a fee for Printed Record Holder Certificates because of rising costs of materials, printing and shipping.
However, a free digital badge is available to all new Record Holders who applied for their record after this date. It is instantly shareable and more accessible globally! Get your FREE Digital Record Breaker Badge!
There is a “forgotten password” button underneath your sign-in area to reset your password.
Before adding your Certificate to your shopping cart, you will be asked to review and approve the wording of your Certificate.
Please do not continue to the checkout stage unless you are sure that the wording of the Certificate is correct as changes are not possible once your order has been submitted.
When previewing the artwork for the certificate, make sure you’re happy with the text layout before proceeding to checkout, if you want this amended please contact us for a layout change. If you request changes to the layout after buying your certificate, you may be charged an additional fee.
We are in the process of adding a new feature that gives customers the ability to change the layout on their certificate text through the use of new line breaks. Stay tuned!
If you hold multiple records, these will be available in a dropdown list on the Record Holder Certificate product page.
You can select a title for each Certificate and add it to the cart, repeating the process for each individual title. Quantities can be revised later in the shopping cart before checkout.
You’ll find all the Records that you have successfully achieved on the dropdown list on the Record Holder Certificate page.
If you can’t find your record title on this list, try logging into your main Guinness World Records account to check the application status of your record title. If it hasn’t been approved yet, it won’t be on the list. Please make sure that you use the same email address that you used to apply for your record.
If you have any questions about the status of your application, please send us a message in the main Guinness World Records website, using the online correspondence tool at the bottom of your application summary page in your Guinness World Records account. You can access this tool by logging into your account and clicking on the record title on your dashboard
page.
If the text on your certificate is very long, it may print over the foil seal or not fit on the page at all. We’ll need to correct this for you. If you’re seeing this problem on your certificate, please contact GWR Store team and we’ll do our best to amend it for you.
Visit the Guinness World Records Certificates' page and follow the on-screen instructions to create your official Certificate of Participation!
You will be able to search for a record title by month, year and country where the record took place. Once selected, click on ‘continue’ to bring up the search results of all records that took place in that location and date. Select your record title, click ‘continue’ and then follow the instructions on the next page to personalise and purchase.
Digital Record Breaker Badge FAQs
The Digital Record Breaker Badge is an official, digital credential awarded to individuals or teams who have successfully achieved a Guinness World Records title. The badge features the record holder's name and specific details of their record title.
No, the Digital Record Breaker Badge is completely free to record breakers who applied for their record via a standard application.
Our Consultancy customers aren’t eligible for the Digital Record Holder Badge, but there are plenty of other ways you can celebrate your record digitally. Just speak to your account manager who’ll talk you through the licensing options for our official Record Holder logo.
Once you’ve received your congratulatory email from Guinness World Records, follow the link to access the Record Holder Zone on the GWR Store. Add the Digital Record Breaker Badge to your cart and proceed to checkout. Once the process is complete you will be able to download your badge.
Yes! The badge is designed to be shared across all digital platforms.
Each Digital Record Breaker Badge is assigned a unique Badge ID that can be verified using blockchain technology. This adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that your achievement is authentic and recognized worldwide. You can authenticate it here.
Record Holders' Most Asked Questions
In order to access the Record Holder Zone, please log in using the email address you used when you made your application.
If this is your first time logging into the GWR Store, click Forgotten Password to create a password.
Go to the GWR Store Login page and click Forgotten Password. You will receive an email asking you to change your password.
Digital Record Breaker Badges are only available to Record Holders who made their record application after 29th August 2024.
Due to rising costs of materials, printing and shipping, we now charge a fee for printed Record Holder Certificates.

The record and certificate text have been generated from the information you gave us on your application.
If the information included is wrong, please use the correspondence box on the record application portal to contact your record manager. They'll help you make any necessary changes.
Guinness World Records Record Holder Certificates have clearly defined style and content requirements. Unfortunately, we can’t make any changes to the text style.
